Autumn Apple Crisp

Happy Thanksgiving to all the Canadians!!! This is the perfect dessert for fall; it gives you a warm, cozy feeling on a cold, blistery day. Snuggle up on a sofa with your dog and enjoy this fantastic Autumn Apple Crisp!

One of the awesome things about this recipe is that you don't have to bake it in the oven. Just throw the ingredients in a sauce pan and stir it up; then serve it in your favorite bowl. :) It's quick and easy, and the spices will make your kitchen smell amazing!

Does your family have any Thanksgiving plans? Make sure to include this recipe in them!!!

Autumn Apple Crisp

3 Apples, sliced (preferably skinless, but it doesn't matter too much)
1 tsp allspice
1 tsp nutmeg
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp grape seed oil
1/2 cup oats
1/8 cup corn starch
1/2 water

Dried Fruit

(all spice measurements can vary depending how much you like them)

Cut up the apples into small chunks, throw into sauce pan on medium heat, and add grape seed oil. Stir occasionally and make slightly mashed. Add all the spices and stir until soft. Add corn starch and water and mix into apples. Take off heat and pour into dish - while hot add oats and dried fruit of your choice. (optional)

This serves about 1 person, maybe 2.
