Perfect For Game Day: Mild Salsa

Not to sweet, or too sour - or more like not too spicy, not too bland! It's the perfect combination of spice with a bit of kick to it. :)

This is the perfect recipe to share with friends and family around the living room while you're watching the Grey Cup this weekend, if you're into football and are Canadian! Get some tortilla or corn chips and dig in while watching the game. :)

This is (Liz's) families' favorite salsa recipe! Credits go to my mom's friend for it. :)

Mild Salsa
Yields: 8 pint sized jars

What you need

12 cups diced tomatoes (Roma is best)
4 and 1/2 cups diced onions
6 cloves chopped garlic
3 large green peppers, diced
6 jalapeno peppers, chopped
3/4 cup vinegar
3 Tbsp salt
3 tsp paprika
3 tsp oregano

PRINTABLE VERSION

Hope you enjoy the salsa recipe AND the game! We have one more delicious snack coming up before game day, so make sure to check back in the next few days!!
